We have loved our three days in London! We were staying very central in Park Lane (Mayfair area) which meant we were able to walk through Green Park to see Buckingham Palace, we also enjoyed browsing the shops in Oxford Street. Friday we walked through Hyde Park, then took a quick trip out to Covent Garden Markets, a place I have always wanted to visit. An extra bonus was lunch at Jamie's Union Jack in Covent Garden! We finished the day with a visit out to Letchworth by train to visit Jeff's sister Jenny and her two daughters, Rosie and Sophie. Very precious to catch up with them after so many years.Saturday was a day in London with some of The Ingram Family (my brother's family).
It was a spectacular day exploring London, we loved every minute of it! We visited the Tower Bridge, then off to the Borough Markets for lunch. Then our surprise 'mini' car tour of London which was such a highlight, finishing our day with a ride on the London Eye with phenomenal views of London! A day we will never forget!
